The Handicare 1100 stairlift operates by using two 12-volt sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries, each with a capacity of 2.6 amp-hour (Ah). These batteries are designed to provide power for the stairlift’s normal operation and will need to eventually be replaced. The dimensions of each battery are approximately 70 mm in length, 48 mm in width, and 98 mm in height.
It’s important to note that the standard battery capacity is 2.6 Ah, some replacement options may not fit or these alternatives wont be compatible with the Handicare 1100 stairlift. When replacing the batteries, they need to be compatible with the 1100 model and meet the specified voltage, size and capacity requirements.
