Manufactured in the UK with a rack a pinion drive the MediTek Stairlift will typically need service once a year. Adjusting and maintaining the Meditek stair lift requires removal of the main chassis cover. The cover should only be removed by a certified stairlift technician. The MediTek lift is no longer in production and should be checked by a repair company familiar with MediTek stairlifts.


The MediTek lift used a full rail charging contacts made of copper insulated with a plastic insert. The normal charge voltage is 33VDC, one contact is positive and one is negative.
