Sterling stair lifts include the Sterling Simplicity 950, Sterling Simplicity+, Sterling 950, Sterling 1000, Sterling 1000 XXL, Sterling 2000 and their outdoor unit. The Sterling lift is easy to identify with its unique light blue switch at the end of the armrest. The lift will also have a label under the front half of the seat and on the lower cover. The Sterling lift may also be labeled as Minivator and are the same lift.
Sterling Stair lift (Minivator) operator’s manual and diagnostic codes. The diagnostic display is located on the lower front cover under the on/off switch or to the side. Note that some codes are normal including 8 and 9 when traveling in the up or down direction and a horizontal dash when the lift is charging. If the lift is beeping and won’t stop it is not charging. The power supply needs to be plugged into a working outlet. If the power supply is on you will need a service call.
